HALO swivel bassinet picks for bedside access and soothing
The 3.0S and Luxe are the two HALO swivel bassinets in this comparison. The first four picks are fitted sheets for those bassinets, included here for readers comparing bedding options alongside a sleeper.
Joey + Joan Fitted Bassinet Sheets: Best for a spare fitted sheet
- Two fitted sheets
- 100% cotton jersey
- Made for HALO BassiNest Swivel Sleeper
A two-sheet set made for HALO BassiNest Swivel Sleeper models. The cotton jersey fabric is machine washable.
Pros
- Two sheets in the pack
- Cotton jersey fabric
- Made for HALO BassiNest Swivel Sleeper
Cons
- Check your exact mattress dimensions before ordering
Joey + Joan’s two-sheet set is made for HALO BassiNest Swivel Sleeper models. The sheets are 100% cotton jersey, and the brand says they are machine washable and tumble dryable.
A spare fitted sheet can make laundry timing easier, but check the mattress fit before buying. Joey + Joan lists the set for HALO Swivel Bassinet, and its product details give dimensions of 30 x 18 inches.
The pack is a focused choice if you want two cotton sheets with a stated model fit. It is bedding, not a bassinet or a portable sleep option.
Biloban Baby Bassinet Sheets 4 Pack Compatible: Best for a four-sheet rotation
- Four fitted sheets
- Fully encased elastic
- Compatible with several HALO BassiNest models
Four sheets provide a larger rotation between washes. Biloban recommends measuring the mattress inside dimensions to check fit.
Pros
- Four sheets in the pack
- Fully encased elastic
- Machine washable
Cons
- Polyester material may not suit every preference
Biloban’s four-pack is the largest sheet set in this group. Its sheets have fully encased elastic and are listed as compatible with HALO Swivel, Flex, Glide, Premiere, and Luxe series sleepers.
The material is polyester microfiber. Biloban recommends measuring the mattress inside dimensions before ordering, which matters because a snug fitted sheet needs to match the sleep surface.
Choose this set if you want four sheets in rotation and prefer a wider range of stated model compatibility. Its polyester fabric may not match a preference for cotton.
TansyPanda Muslin Halo Bassinet Sheets for BassiNest: Best for a three-sheet cotton set
- Three fitted sheets
- Cotton fabric
- 33 x 17 in dimensions
A three-sheet cotton set sized 33 x 17 inches. Compare those dimensions with your mattress before buying.
Pros
- Three sheets in the pack
- Cotton fabric
- Machine washable
Cons
- Dimensions differ from the 30 x 18 in sheets listed here
TansyPanda offers three cotton sheets sized 33 x 17 inches. Its product details name HALO Luxe Swivel, Soothing, Swivel, Lite, and Essential sleepers as compatible models.
That size differs from the 30 x 18 inches given for several other sheets here. Measure your mattress and compare the dimensions before buying, especially if your BassiNest model uses a different sleep surface.
The three-sheet pack suits shoppers who want cotton fabric and a larger stated sheet size. Machine washing is listed for care.
TotCare Halo Bassinest Fitted Sheets: Best for stretchy jersey fabric
- Three fitted sheets
- 95% polyester and 5% spandex
- 30 x 18 in dimensions
Three stretchy fitted sheets sized 30 x 18 inches. TotCare lists compatibility with several HALO BassiNest models.
Pros
- Three sheets in the pack
- Stretch fabric
- Machine washable
Cons
- Contains polyester and spandex
TotCare’s three fitted sheets measure 30 x 18 inches and use fabric made from 95% polyester and 5% spandex. The stated compatibility includes HALO Swivel, Flex, Glide, Premiere, and Luxe series sleepers.
Stretch fabric can make a fitted sheet easier to put on and remove. Check your mattress dimensions against the sheet size before ordering, even when your model name appears in the compatibility list.
This set is a fit to compare if you want three sheets in a stretch fabric. TotCare lists machine washing for care.
HALO BassiNest Soothing Swivel Sleeper 3.0S: Best for built-in soothing
- 360-degree rotation
- Two vibration levels
- Four calm sounds
- Lowering wall
A swivel sleeper with a lowering wall, two vibration levels, four calm sounds, and a nightlight with auto shut-off.
Pros
- 360-degree rotation
- Built-in sounds and vibrations
- Detachable nest for supervised awake use on the floor
Cons
- Detachable nest is not for sleep or raised surfaces
The Soothing Swivel Sleeper 3.0S is the top bassinet pick for buyers who want bedside access plus built-in soothing features. It has 360-degree rotation, a lowering wall, two vibration levels, four calm sounds, and a nightlight with auto shut-off.
Its height adjusts to fit beds up to 30 inches high, with bed frames at least 4.5 inches off the floor. Check both measurements against your setup before choosing it.
The detachable nest adds a limited portable option around the house. HALO says it should be used only on the floor with a supervised, awake baby, never for sleep, on raised surfaces, or while being moved.
Choose the 3.0S if those soothing features match your needs and its height range fits your bed. Its maximum weight recommendation is 20 lb; HALO says to stop use sooner if the baby shows signs of rolling or pushing up on hands and knees.
HALO BassiNest Luxe Swivel Sleeper: Best for a taller bed setup
- 360-degree rotation
- Vibrations and soothing sounds
- Lowering wall
- Storage caddy included
The Luxe combines swivel access and soothing features with a lowering wall, wood details, and an included storage caddy.
Pros
- Designed for beds up to 33 in high
- Includes storage caddy
- Detachable nest for supervised awake use on the floor
Cons
- Detachable nest is not for sleep or raised surfaces
The Luxe shares the main bedside features of the 3.0S, including 360-degree rotation, a lowering wall, mesh walls, and built-in vibrations and soothing sounds. Its stated bed-height fit reaches up to 33 inches, and it includes a storage caddy.
The Luxe also converts into a detachable nest for around-the-house use. As with the 3.0S, HALO says this nest is only for supervised, awake use on the floor, not for sleep, raised surfaces, or while moving it.
This model may suit a taller bed or a setup where the extra storage caddy is useful. For roomier alternatives, compare large bedside bassinets.
It weighs 42.9 lb, compared with 22.7 lb for the 3.0S, so consider where you plan to place it.
The maximum weight recommendation is 20 lb. HALO says to discontinue use when a baby shows signs of rolling or pushing up on hands and knees, or reaches the weight limit, whichever comes first.
What should you check before choosing a HALO swivel bassinet?
Measure your bed height, frame clearance, and the floor area where the bassinet base will sit. For compact rooms, compare bedside bassinets for small spaces.
Those checks help you see whether the bassinet can reach your bedside and fit around nearby furniture.
Both HALO models here require bed frames at least 4.5 inches off the floor. The 3.0S is designed for beds up to 30 inches high, while the Luxe is designed for beds up to 33 inches high.
The lowering wall and swivel can make reaching the baby easier from beside the bed. A bedside sleeper still has its own sleep surface and should be set up according to the product instructions; for more context, read Bassinet Wheels: What Parents Should Know.
Is a HALO swivel bassinet portable?
The 3.0S and Luxe include a detachable nest, but HALO limits its use to the floor with a supervised, awake baby. It is not a portable bassinet for sleep or for moving a sleeping baby from room to room.
That distinction matters if you need a bassinet to move between rooms during naps. The HALO nest is an awake-time option, and HALO says not to use it on raised surfaces or while it is being moved.
Some bedside sleepers have wheels for repositioning, but wheels do not make every model suitable for travel. Compare options in our guide to best bedside sleeper with wheels if that feature matters to your room setup.
What do the soothing features include?
The 3.0S and Luxe include vibrations, calm sounds, and a nightlight with auto shut-off. The 3.0S specifies two vibration levels and four calm sounds; the Luxe lists multiple levels of vibrations and soothing sounds.
These are built-in electronic features, but the details here do not describe automatic crying detection. If you are comparing products marketed as smart bassinets, read Smart Bassinet for Babies: What It Means to separate named features from assumptions.
How do you choose fitted sheets for a HALO BassiNest?
Match the fitted sheet dimensions and stated model compatibility to your bassinet mattress. The four sets here include 30 x 18 inch options and a 33 x 17 inch option, so do not assume all HALO sheets fit every model.
The Joey + Joan, Biloban, and TotCare sets list 30 x 18 inches. TansyPanda lists 33 x 17 inches, and its named compatibility spans several HALO types.
If you are deciding whether a bedside sleeper suits your family, consider the access and placement needs first. A bedside sleeper for toddler guide can also help clarify when this type of product is no longer a fit.
Which HALO swivel bassinet should you choose?
Choose the Soothing Swivel Sleeper 3.0S if your bed is up to 30 inches high and you want specified sound and vibration controls. Choose the Luxe if your bed is up to 33 inches high or you want its included storage caddy.
For either model, verify bed height and frame clearance, and follow HALO’s limits for the detachable nest and bassinet use. For sheets, measure the mattress and compare it with the sheet dimensions before choosing a pack.
